Zya Music: Make Your Own Songs with this Free App

Posted on by Paula W.

You know what’s weird? When you’re listening to music with your earbuds in and then you take them out and you’re surprised that the music isn’t still playing. Or that the rest of your coworkers aren’t desk dancing to the same music you’re dancing to. For a split second, I don’t understand why they’re all just sitting there and not dancing like I am.

This week I’m desk dancing even crazier than usual because I’m making awesome music with the free app Zya Music. Zya Music is basically a music studio staffed with the most talented musicians and engineers. It comes with a vocal booth, a beat maker (for your beats, natch) and a band room where you can mash up instruments and genres to create your own sound.

So far I’ve created music with a lot of synthesizers over which I sing the lyrics from 80’s songs as I understand them to be. You see, in the days before the Internet, we had to guess at song lyrics and often we were wrong. Never mind that I have the internet now and I can easily correct myself. I prefer my bad lyrical interpretations. And now Zya is allowing me to incorporate them into my own songs.

Do I share my songs with my coworkers now or just wait for a quiet moment to blast ‘em over my laptop speakers? Either way I know they’re going to appreciate my song stylings thanks to Zya Music.
