Rocking School in Style with Back-to-School Education Apps

Posted on by Carl H.

I just spent an awesome summer exploring the hundreds of apps offered in the Intel AppUp® center, but all good things must come to an end. I’m heading back to grad school, but I’m doing it in style with a brand new netbook loaded with my favorite education apps thanks to the AppUp team. And I’m pretty sure I’m going hit the halls as the undeniable app expert. So, what education apps will I recommend to my classmates?

So glad you asked! Here are my top four education apps that will help me and you rock school:

1. TweetDeck (free): TweetDeck is the one-stop-shop for everything social media.

2.  Merriam Webster’s Pocket Dictionary ($14.95): Fellow word nerds rejoice! The ultimate digital pocket dictionary is here. My favorite feature: Word-of-the-day.

3. Nook (free): Give your brain and your back a break with digital books from the Barnes & Noble free app, Nook.

4. MoneyBag (free): Money’s tight and time is tighter. The MoneyBag app manages all my financial transactions, budgets and spending behavior to keep me organized.

That’s it for me, but I won’t be far. I’ll be a regular reader of App Life and comment when I can. So you tell me, how are you heading back to school in style?
