Photography App – 100 Cameras in 1: Easy Photo Editing on a PC
I mentioned that I’m trying to improve my photography. I mean, my son Jake can’t grow up to find a half-filled photo album of blurry photos of him from my mobile phone, right? Right. And I am trying some new photography tips that I’m picking up here and there on the internet. But I’m starting to believe I don’t have an eye for photography. I have an eye for a good line through the trees on my snowboard, but as for taking a picture and obeying the rule of thirds, keeping an eye on lighting, subject, etc. I just can’t keep it all together. And ask my son to hold still long enough so that I can take that perfect shot….
Here’s my latest approach to improving my pictures: doing what I can after the fact. I could add a little ambiance or personality or a cool filter to maybe correct the weird lighting I only noticed after I took the picture and Jake scooted off to the next thing. To improve some of the OK photos I've taken, I’m giving the photography app 100 Cameras in 1 a shot.
100 Cameras in 1 lets me improve my pictures on my laptop instead of trying to determine the picture’s quality on my mobile phone. I can add effects and use the sliders to adjust the texture and lighting as well as the mood of the picture. By the way, I'm going for “how did you ever take such a nice photo”, not hey, hey Jake come back here (insert photo of back of head) and do that cute thing again so I can take another picture!
So far, I’m having fun with the different options and I’m learning a bit more about photography in the process. I can see the right way to crop images and I’m learning what I can and can’t correct.
I highly recommend 100 Cameras in 1 to anyone taking pictures who wants to try editing them on the bigger screen of a laptop. The app is easy to use and it makes the photographer look even better than the subject.
