Intel AppUp®, Ultrabook™, and CES

Posted on by Paula W.

Cue the drooling – it’s CES week! CES is the consumer electronics show that happens each year in Las Vegas. It’s a big show. Very big. Last year 140,000 people attended. I was one of those people and yes, I did do a bit of drooling over all of the new technology on display. Quite a bit.

This year, Intel will be there wowing the crowds with its new Ultrabook™. Have you seen Ultrabook? If you haven’t, let me fill you in. Powered by a visibly smart Intel® Core™ processor and less than an inch thick Ultrabook, wakes up in a flash and lets you experience the joy of performance that keeps up with you.

Bonus!  The Intel AppUp center has the best apps for Ultrabook.

So, are you drooling yet?

At CES, Intel is demonstrating features that will be added to Ultrabook in the future. My favorite future feature (couldn’t resist the alliteration there) is a clear panel at the base of the keyboard that serves as a touch pad when open in clamshell mode, but transforms into a touch-enabled display when closed for quick use on-the-go. Hello drool!

See more technology from CES and tune in to to the live feeds from CES here. You can also keep up with CES news on the @IntelAppUp twitter account. Happy CES!
