Digital Technology and eLearning Tools for Schools from Intel
Attention educators! Here’s what I’d like to do: I’d like to give each of you a vacation in Hawaii and a foot massage. But I can’t do the Hawaii vacation and you really don’t want one of my foot rubs — my husband calls them the closest thing he’s known to torture (he flatters me endlessly). But what I can do is ask you again to enter the Wired to Learn contest – the winning school receives a $25,000 tech package!
Here’s the other thing I can do: show you a few of the ways Intel works with schools, including offering a ton of online resources for educators interested in elearning. I love this site because it’s a great starting point for teachers, IT and administrators who need IT help (it’s free!) or want to increase their own education about elearning and digital technology in the classroom. There are IT Solution tools and guides, online courses, research, events and a global community for educators. It’s a great way to connect with others and exchange ideas.
So go and enter Wired to Learn and start exploring the ways Intel and educators work together. And if my foot massages improve or if I suddenly win all of the lotteries in every state in the US, I will let you all know that you should start packing your swimsuits and preparing your feet for the most relaxing, not-tortuous experience ever.
