Word Ladder

What is Word Ladder?
Word ladder can help you learn to recognize and spell the most frequently used words in the English language. The words are organized by grade 1 -12 with the most frequently used words in the first grade. Each grade has 130 lists and each list has 10 words. That’s a lot of words and definitions. Don’t worry you don’t have to pass every list to pass a grade. You can take a challenge test by click on the next grade button at any time.
3 Mode of Interaction
The software offers three mode of interaction: Keyboard, Mouse/Touch, and Voice. You can use one mode exclusively or choose to mix the modes together. To use the voice mode be sure your microphone is on and set up properly. You will also need to turn on your speakers in order to take the spelling test.
Voice Mode
You can think of the voice mode as a simulated spelling bee. The software will prompt you with “Spell the word apple” and would respond with your voice by saying “A-P-P-L-E”. The software would then say “Correct”. You would then move on to the next word by saying “Next”.

Pretty fun way to learn

Intersting. I like it. Its nice mix of technoigy and creativity to make learning how to spell intersting again, and actally its kinda fun. I also like how you can do everything by voice.
