Well, I gave it a shot. You figure it's free, right? How bad can that be? Well, I couldn't get any controls to work, arrows, mouse, spacebar. When it moved or fired, it was random. Not delayed, random. That was my experience. 0 stars! Uninstalling....
Nice that it is free, but it is too large for my Best Buy Netbook screen (Asus EePC N450).
The game is awsome try it. It worth the waiting for the downloading and installing. It's nearly the same as the Arcade and Atari 2600 version. 4/5 Stars ( Try it! You won't be dissapointed ) .
I played Centipede and Milipede 100s of times in the mid-80s on coin-op machines. When dating my now-wife, she was happy to just go to an arcade with a roll of quarters and play these games as a date. It's a bit awkward playing without a large trackball. I find a mouse laggy -- movement of my "shooter" lags behind my motion by a fraction of a second. Playing with the arrow keys is much more responsive, but you cannot move on diagonals. The game has refused to start, locked-up, and had my mouse
