Speech-enhanced Educational software "FindTutor Ft-2013" for Microsoft Windows 8 can be used as standalone desktop application or as extended feature of "Edumatter M12" educational software product line.

FindTutor Ft-2013 allows finding Tutors nearby based on Geographical location of the User (i.e. Latitude and Longitude). Application requires novel Ultrabooks™ (inspired by Intel™ Corporation) equipped with GPS sensor. It can operate in both standard desktop keyboard/mouse and also touch-screen modes. Multi-modal User Interface is friendly and intuitive, extending GUI capability with Voice Instruction to User via TTS (Text-to-Speech) technology. This feature is optional and can be turned On/Off.

In order to find tutors in nearby location, User must first click on “Get Coordinates” button, and, upon success, select the subject from drop-down list (e.g. “Math Tutor”), and, finally, click on “Find Tutor” button. System will open a web page containing interactive Microsoft Bing™ Map with pushpin images, pointing at tutors’ location and providing some basic information upon mouse hover. There are 2 essential types of pushpin images, corresponding to a different data retrieval techniques: the first one represents regular set of pushpins and data generated via standard POI-finding feature (“Find What”) implemented in Microsoft Bing™ Map technology; second type of custom pushpins contains tutors’ data added from Company’s database (regularly updated and revised).

This application can be installed using standard Microsoft Windows setup procedure. To completely uninstall the application, refer to the standard "Programs and features" menu option in Windows "Control Panel".
